Cryptic Corallines - Hakai Institute
Rocky reefs would be far less colorful without corallines, a kind of red algae. Corallines are more than just eye candy—they play key roles in the ecosystem. Studying corallines requires a mix of heavy lifting and a good dose of ingenuity.
